I check, and sure enough, you're apparently supposed to back up your saved games or something like that or otherwise you'll mess up both the Sims 2 and the expansion pack. The first time I install it, when I play the game, all of a sudden, the walls of the Sims houses are all pulsing and blinking. So I try an install "Sims 2: Family Fun Stuff". Damn it all, it's REALLY starting to bug me.
